Hand Made Care — A culture of health and love.

Handmade Care is not just your typical health specialty online retailer–we pride ourselves on only offering products that we would use on ourselves!  So rest assured that we have done hours and hours of long research, tested and tried every product to ensure they are chemical free from all the bad stuff.  We are built on a culture of hounding down the manufactures, staying up to date and working together with natural food and product advocates to ensure no harsh chemicals or toxins enter your body from anything in our shop.  Support our FIGHT against large corporate and government interests who perpetuate and allow for corruption of products that consumers like you use.  A portion of our proceeds go towards a pool of WELL RESEARCHED organizations or individuals who are in this battle with us.  So shop with confidence knowing your dollars are going towards a noble cause.  Visit our giving back page for more details or to get involved.

OUR Semi-Long BUT NOT BORING STORY Ya Just Gotta Read.

Hand Made Care began with the love of Natalie and Lawrence, a couple with a passion for a healthy lifestyle.  Tired of the high cost yet still toxic filled ingredients in soaps and hygiene products out there,  Natalie began experimenting and making her own soaps to use.  Both a bit obsessive about what they put in, and ON their bodies, they both sought out the best products, ingredients and oils and researched extensively both on the traditional medical side as well as the holistic view–ranging from what is carcinogenic and toxic to what heals/helps with skin issues (or what helps keep great skin great!).

A bit skeptical at first about using some home made soap that smelled very nice and looked very pretty, Lawrence was soon absolutely WOWED by the astounding changes that happened to his skin (who was very prone to getting adult acne and would almost never have a week without at least a zit or two somewhere).  He could not stop ranting and raving about how great this stuff was.  His complexion completely changed and cleared up of acne, he had no more black heads and what was even more amazing was that his keloid scarring also began diminishing!  From then on, they never looked back.  He started using them to shave, wash hands and even uses bar soaps for his hair.  Natalie was also excited as she truly saw REAL ACTUAL soap without chemicals or toxins did.

They began giving soap away to their friends and family and to their surprise, they came back asking if they sold the soap they made because they wanted to buy it for them and their friends.  That’s when the idea dawned on Natalie and Lawrence that “hey, everyone loves it so much, why don’t we start putting packages out it in the market place with what we make and what we buy to use?”

As two very idealistic and morally upstanding people, they refused to give anything or refer anything to anyone that would pose any risks or simply didn’t work.  There is no product offered or sold by Hand Made Care that Natalie and Lawrence don’t use themselves.  Already strong in their belief that doing things from the heart is the only way to do things, they made a pledge to keep things cruelty free and be very educational about what is offered and to never skimp on the good stuff.  Furthering this was when they had their first daughter Hayden in 2016. (she actually has her own blog! Click here to check it out!).  Worried about products out there that were harsh and contained chemicals, they naturally used what they would deem only the best with her, with just the bare essentials.  With so much deep belief in what they do, it’s no mystery why our products are a cut above the rest.  We didn’t just do this out of boredom or merely as a hobby/craft (Though we love what we do!), we make our soaps and search high and low for products out there that are made with tender love and care that fit our standard of quality to share the benefits of a healthy, beautiful lifestyle.
